THE OPPRESSION/DOMINATION MATRIX

One of the most important steps in becoming an intersectional business is recognizing that there is a problem with oppression and domination in today's culture. One cannot fall prey to blind privilege and continue to allow for the white man to be at the top of the pyramid of success. History has proven that many groups have been forced into oppression under the power of the white man, but it is time to make a change. As a society, it is no longer acceptable to allow race, gender, sexual orientation, or class to cloud judgement. Working in HR provides the perfect opportunity to recognize that a problem is occurring and start building towards a solution.
